Our Farm History: Though I am relatively new at raising boer goats, I've had goats since I was
eight years old. I raised registered Nubian goats for many years until I started my own family. Now that my children are older, and they can go out with me, I've decided to start my herd again. I have been learning a lot and can't wait for my first arrival of kids. I hope to expand my herd, but right now, I stand at sixty adult does and three bucks plus babies arriving every day!
I have my first year of Boer goat farming under my belt. I have learned tremendous lessons. I've encountered things I never believe I would do. However, I am positive that my girls will do great and look forward to a successful year!
What we have: I am raising goats primarily for meat. I have commerical animals- not high dollar show goats. I also have two full blood bucks. I do have some red grades, correct grades, and percentage black heads. I also began the dairy side of goats again with purchases of Lamanchas. I love my dairys and pride in having some great show animals.
Location: We are located southeast of Brownstown, Indiana. We are approximately one hour south of Indianapolis and one hour north of Louisville, Kentucky.
